Wood, Water and Woosh

Pleasantly surprised by a new local walk today.  We'd passed the large stand of trees of Langdale Wood many times but never explored them - got around to that today, and to exploring the rather denser, younger woodland behind it.  

Especially surprised to find open water which is something the immediate area lacks.

Undecided between the drowned and frozen trees, and the large stand of silver birch (in the extra).

Went to see Rogue One this evening.  I enjoyed it - it's not quite as predictable as most.  Perhaps enjoyed more how they solved the problem of reducing the age of several actors by 40 years...
