King Creosote at the Queen's Hall
Off to the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh this evening to hear King Creosote play. Band fronted by Kenny Anderson, who lives in our favourite Fife village and is a relative of my husband's. He's also been kind enough to support Crail Food Festival by popping down to the harbour and playing for us.
So time for us to hear how he sounds when he's got a big band - 10 or so musicians joined him on stage. Good gig, much more rock than the more folky sounds we're used to hearing when it's just him at the harbour.
Also spotted Suggs from Madness in the bar before the gig (his show on in the Fringe before the King Creosote one), then saw Ian Rankin in the crowd as we left the gig. Quite the Fife night out!
