Fynbos

Just a couple of hundred metres from the rage of Wednesday's Blip is the heart of the Cape's Floral Kingdom, home to some 1500 unique varieties of fynbos.

To me (no expert), these fall under the broad category of vygie and make a fabulous splash of brilliance against the dense undergrowth.
