The train

I went to Columbia with my friend Maria ( of the pizzelle cookies) and we walked for 2 hours taking photos along the river.   In 2015 when the 1000 year flood came through this area, the Riverwalk was inundated. They are still making repairs along parts of it and had a section gated off.   But they did not have the little path shut off that went beyond the gate so we went past to get a photo of this railroad bridge.   Imagine our delight when we heard the train coming!      I have been there many times and this is the first time I have seen the train crossing.    Then as we turned around to go back to the car, two engines (see the extra) came from the other direction. A good photo shoot day.  

Maria is new to the area so we have several trips planned as she has no clue where to go for photo walks.  She just hopes I can get her back home as she is not too good with directions!
