Walking on the road

Today is a fairly warm day, just long sleeve weather but no jacket needed. I took the dog for a longer walk as the sun felt so good even though we still have clouds.  This is the road walking back toward my house, which is on the left past the white truck but further around the curve.  We have six new houses being built along our road.  This area was all trees and forest except for our house and one other for so many years. 

Friday night and Saturday, winter comes back to the south.  We will dip below freezing and possibly have a few snow flurries, or freezing rain, ice or a mixture of all of it.    The weather people are still unsure but we will get something..which is very unusual for us.  As our area is not really equipped to handle lots of snow or ice, I am hoping for just enough to cover the ground so I can take a few photos, then it can melt.  And luckily it is on Saturday so  many people won't have to go to work!

Winter in South Carolina is strange...but spring always comes early!
