It's been all go here with the Procession de los Reyes for Epiphany. The Kings arrive by boat and are met by a child who demands presents for all the children. The floats and costumes are spectacular, and include giant winged lions, camels, elephants and spacemen - or were those angels? We have a spectacular view from our Juliet balcony. It didn't seem right to take pictures, somehow, so here is a poinsettia decorated lamp post instead. Now there are brass bands and firecrackers.
Earlier today there were queues outside the bakeries to buy the huge crown shaped cream cakes of the season. So much for the Mediterranean diet.
In other news, I found a store that sells the gadget to communicate between camera card and iPad. Hasn't made my pictures markedly better. I wonder where they sell THAT gadget?
