OUR NEIGHBOUR THE CATHEDRAL

Lovely day starting with a brisk walk up to the Mirador, a stroll to Caleta where we sat in our favourite chiringuita by the beach with a coffee that slid into lunch.  The heat meant a siesta was necessary. Later we ate dinner at home, in the grand dining -room. It's hard not to giggle at the splendour of our apartment - it's a bit 'homes and gardens' and not quite us, but we may yet rise to the occasion.  We did not choose this splendour, BTW. At the last minute our chosen apartment was not available and they gave us this instead. We have been more fortunate than our neice, who is living with their family in a garage in a basement in the Canaries.

So that's the first New Year's resolution down the tubes. I screwed up again and did not bring the right gadget to get photos off my SLR onto iPad or laptop. So my plan to get serious with the SLR has taken a dive. There's just no satisfaction in not being able to see them other than on the wee camera screen.  UPDATE: found a store in Malaga that sells the gadget.  Hasn't made my images markedly better - where do you buy THAT gadget?
