Profitable Kayaking!

Wow. This evening, I told the family I was not going to cook! Too hot! After a few days of cooler temperatures, today was just too hot to do much of anything.

So....down to town to pick up Subway. On the way home, I passed by Woodville and decided to stop for a minute. Yikes! In the "Eagle tree" sat two Eagles, side by side.

I raced home and Son and I loaded our kayaks into the truck. I grabbed the Nikon D-80 and raced out the door!

As I paddled out to "the" tree, one Eagle lifted off and flew up the lake along the shorelne. Undaunted, I paddled to the tree and the remaining Eagle posed nicely for me for nearly one hundred photos.

Suddenly, up the large raptor lifted, and off it flew. I was able to capture this shot just as the bird lifted off.

I am soooo glad I didn't cook tonight!
