First Reserve
I'm not convinced that the oak tree which I chose for my OneTree project is alive so, as a precaution, I have also been photographing a 'reserve' tree. This is another oak which stands a little way from my OneTree in the same field. Hopefully OneTree will burst into life in the spring at which point I will stop photographing the reserve, even though it is also a splendid tree.
Incidentally the small brick structure on the right hand side in the middle distance is the water tower at Sheffield Park Station, the end of the line for the steam engines of the Bluebell Railway.
