late birthday presents

Another sharp frost followed by a lovely day. 

Worked on the seed orders all morning,  shopped and played with Freddie all afternoon. He is more or less completely recovered now and is on fine form. 
A later birthday present from my son arrived - two great books on photography in America, one -The Open Road - is a collection of works from a long list of great American photographers from the fifties to now.
I think our long planned trip might be really going to happen !!
