Stanwick reeds

After all the indulgence of Christmas, it was good to get out with the Kingfishers walking group. Nineteen of us trekked around Stanwick Lakes swopping our seasonal stories and taking in the wintry scenery. The reeds by the lakes make a good habitat for wildfowl and are always good to photograph. After five miles we made for the visitor centre and a welcome cup of hot coffee.
