Jane

Spent 2 1/2 hours with ex neighbour today catching up on the news.  She is 93 - lives on her own and has a wicked sense of humour.  Her eye sight is failing but she still loves her music and plays her electric organ on a regular basis.  Was in the Land Army during the war and is full of tales about it.  She loves a tot of whisky and refers to 80 year olds as 'the youngsters'.  Have promised to take her out for lunch if she can fit it into her packed diary - no doubt alcohol will be involved.
