Round and Round

Headed off to Peebles today to see the nice people at the Honda garage who told me I had won a prize (I may need to take up golf)

After having bought a couple of the wonderful tasting pork pies from Forsyths the butcher I turned the car round next to St Andrew's Tower.
It occured to me that Missymoos challenge of 'pathway' for today would be fulfilled with the path leading up to the tower.
I was going to try and take some more distorted shots of the wonderful headstones - but the rain put paid to that - so instead you get the lovely cherry tree and its fabulous bark.

The journey home was via Ocean Terminal (don't ask!)

Visited the Grandchildren early evening because it was thought I might be able to get the Cygnet to eat his diner ..... he was overly tired after his very exciting trip into town on a train (he loves trains).
He ate a cheese and ham sandwich while his sister pushed herself up on her arms, raised her head and looked around ....... not too bad for a baby who is only 2 weeks old tomorrow.

Now No1 son and daughter-in-law to be have arrived so my peace and quiet is shattered.
