Hello Mr Kong!

An appointment in Leeds today and as I was a little early I had a wander round and happened to notice a 20 foot tall King Kong.  I don't know how long he's been there but I haven't noticed him before... and I would have done... wouldn't I??  Maybe not....:)
Apparently he originally stood proud in Birmingham, then was bought by a used car salesperson (The King Kong Kar Ko) despite a 'Keep King Kong' campaign. The salesperson took him to Edinburgh where he stood outside a market for 30 years.... then he moved to the Lakes and took him with him... and painted him pink.  And now he's in Leeds, and I rather like him!  Although Birmingham now want him back!
