Breakfast - NYD....
Wasn't sure if breakfast would be served at the normal time at the B & B in Crosby Ravensworth with knowing that everyone was up to see the NY in, but down to find the log burner glowing, the candles flickering, and the smell of bacon coming from the kitchen. A very highly enjoyable stay :))
Then off home, via a wee little village int Dales called Keld. Wanted to see Crackpot Hall as shown in 'The Photographer's Guide to The Yorkshire Dales' handbook. I was in charge of the walk.... you know me, we got there eventually via the scening route! Extra (yes extra ya hooo.... pace yourself Lupes, pace yourself) is the derelict Blacksmith's shop, I believe, in them there magnificent hills.
A beautiful drive home through the wondrously snow tipped hills of Cumbria and North Yorkshire and then home to soak my bones... a Lush bath bomb, The Folk Show with Mark Radcliffe, candles, glass of wine, a choccie and a chill on the sofa. Tomorrow - Chino comes home:))))
