Achieving?

A bizarre day, full of movement but not getting very far. I had to have a repair done to my car.  This entailed two round trips of 40 miles, using four modes of transport and then five phone calls. In addition to the job I had booked to be done, the garage found four extra items.  When I challenged one, they said something along the lines of "oh, that didn't need doing anyway." I agreed to the other three jobs but they didn't have the parts. What fun. Cars, eh?
