Happy 3rd birthday Nathaniel

We had another late night with our guests. After another hearty but late breakfast they headed home and I made a cake for Nathaniel's third birthday.

He'd had a little party at home with his two best buddies from nursery earlier. We arrived later to join his two aunties, parents and sister for another little celebration before we all went to the local Turkish restaurant.

We drove the two of them home with us, because their mum is back teaching tomorrow, her school being in South Tyneside and they, being in Newcaste, don't go back till Thursday.

Ella has been so sweet to her brother today, giving him first go at everything as "he's the birthday boy" - but reminding him that tomorrow he won't be.
