Bumps in the Road

The little lady slept through the night!  The wee man was up and down but I was able to spend the night with him in his single bed (the bed that my Dad made for me when I was his age).  It's not the most comfiest of nights, especially when he wriggles and wriggles and wriggles.  In fact, 4:30am was it for this wee man today.  He wasn't able to fall back to sleep so I finally let him get up at 6:30am.  Now that he's 4 years old, he's proud to tell us that he's a lot more able than he used to be.  He's so able that he can walk downstairs and play his favourite YouTube shows on the TV (a feat I sometimes truggle with!).

I had hoped to put an end to sleeping with the wee man - especially once he hit four.  I'm now thinking we'll buy him a bigger bed instead.  Easy wins and all that...

Mama and Gooma sound to be having a great time in Verona.  I wish we were all together - either here or there.  What am I saying... I wish we all in Italy!

This will be the last shot of the Christmas decorations this year.  Despite the Cabin fever, we're making the most of our time together, and trying to be productive when we can.  Mind you, we do still play plenty of games - as you can see by Cubetto above

Tortellini for dinner tonight.  Pizza the other night.  If we can't spend the week in Italy, we'll bring Italy home!
