Day 2: Exploring

Katie and I had a lovely day together today. We started out by going to reunite her and Monkey, who was kindly brought in very first thing by Uncle Gareth. They then had a play on the giant deckchair. We had a bit of a wander round before I took her to Imagine with Anxious the Elephant, a children's music and movement session. Katie loved it. She joined the lines for wandering round pretending to be on a coach, did all the actions and dancing.

After the session, I took her to the soft play centre, where we found one of the biggest ball pools I've seen. It was huge! She loved it. Her and I had a lovely play in the bigger section. She attempted to play air hockey until she accepted she wasnt tall enough.

I took her for our first swim in the swimming pool. She loved the little pool, playing in the shallow end which sloped very gently from no water at all. She loved the little mini waterfalls from the pumps from the bubble pool and water slide.

We went back to the caravan for a bit of a rest before our friends for the evening entertainment. She loved the Toddler Disco that started the evening off and had a lot of fun twirling her little heart out round the dance floor. Next up however was The Old Moscow Circus. The first act was a pair of clowns and she was terrified of them. From then on she declared that the circus scared her and wasnt very good. She did however like watching the guy who did clever balancing on a ladder and the impressive hula hooping lady. She didnt want to stay much longer though as the clowns came back on. So we headed home and she got her first ever candy floss, fresh on a stick and everything. Mummy had to of course take the job of eating rejecting said candyfloss.
