An early start, a brisk run, jobs and preparations all done then off to Leeds to gather mum off the train.

I had a wee wander around town with the camera, plenty going on. I sat down to watch and blip the chess, was vaguely conscious of someone sitting next to me and then noticed she was photo'ing as well.

The posturing and drama gave plenty angles and perspectives to blip but this guy was just cool but with an intense concentration. His nonchalant "move"with his foot contrasted with his opponent who reacted to every move and possibility like some improvising drama student with an over encouraging audience. Ive not seen this outdoor chess thing much in the UK, it was interesting to see the flow of participants and observers and how strangers were briefly brought together.
