Christmas Day

Expecting the guests to arrive in time for lunch, we arranged and set the tables on the stoep.

The weather was perfect, sunny and mild, and the lovely starters made by Adele and James were served outside on the lawn while the friends and family were lazing in the shade of a gazebo.

All the ladies contributed to the lunch with their speciality dishes, and needless to say that the flavorsome local champagne complimented the delectable Christmas food that was served.

After lunch, we spent the rest of the afternoon outside in the shade, chatting, laughing and enjoying each other's company. Like we do on Christmas.

It was a beautiful day and everbody's contribution made it very special.
