Here she is in her favorite spot....looking out the window at the chickadees swooping in and out from the birdfeeder. 

We were planning to head out for an afternoon gathering about 1/2 hour away, we've gone most New Year's day to this event and it is always great fun....but by around 2.30 pm the weather was miserable and looked like it was going to get worse.   So changed plans!   i had some of the guacamole i made to take with us, and have set to cleaning up my office in preparation for the new shelves!

Just heard from another friend who was going to the same party...she turned round before she got there cos the weather was so bad....nice to know i wasn't just being a lazy sod!!!
