Last day of 2016!

Terry and i decided to get out of here.....our attempt the other day was thwarted due to a weird sound and vibrations coming from the car...so we turned around half way there!!!   Anyway, today we got up to Sydney and our main shopping spree was in Home Depot!   Terry is building me some shelves for my office/painting studio so we got all the necessary lumber.  He was also treating himself to a new power screw gun!   The last time he bought one was about 16 years ago, i think he was due!!

Then we tried 4 places for dinner...either they were overcrowded or were take out only!   So we ended up in a fabulous big Irish Pub....very noisy and full but they found us a table.   Live music and much celebratory groups all around.   We did stay up till the stroke of midnight...not unusual for Terry, but very unusual for me...had a glass of champagne and then off to bed!
