So proud

Today was my final day with our gorgeous red team. We started the day in work, Katie brought her clarinet as the building was empty. We downloaded a couple of new pieces for her that she was excited to realise she knew them (I found hall of the mountain king for her- she recognised it from Trolls!)

Today was wonderful with our little stars. I have been so proud to see them grow, learn, enjoy through the panto run. It's been an incredible opportunity for them and they've loved it. Standing backstage and seeing how much the cast adore and are proud of them has been wonderful. I managed to walk away tonight holding back the slight tear that had gathered in my eye. This evening we were asked to do a photo with the backstage crew so that's one of the extras. The blip is an amazing cake that one of my fellow chaperones made for our girls as a gorgeous surprise. They're even in their rightful stage places. Detail pic in the extras too! Tonight was even more special as my sister and family came to see her. I think they were taken aback at the feelings of pride in our little star. She has shone on stage this month. Absolutely loved it. Well done, baby. One more day to go tomorrow!
