Happy New Year

a sober start to the new year for me, as I was on call ,but I doubt it will last long despite the usual annual intention of cutting back on calories , getting more exercise etc.   We'd planned a quiet night in but I ended up going in to work as some of the local babies had made other plans for my night!   
Luckily didn't have quite such a bad journey as our transport team who were trying to leave St Thomas's  , right by the Thames, as the London fireworks were about to go off.
