cormorant

a bit of an unusual visitor to the local pond, although I have seen one there once  before. It was a bit too far off and in low light so these aren't terribly good quality but I'll read my new bird photography book and attempt something better later in the year.  
Its getting colder tonight and rather rainy out so planning a relaxing night in front of the fire with a film and bottle of bubbly!
