By the time we got to Culross...
it was blowing hard and raining, a dark scudding sky bringing the brief day to an early end. But my Mum, game as ever, was up for going into the chilly Abbey at Culross. There we learnt about St Serf before a quick cup of tea in the car in the village and the drive back to Embra over the Kincardine Bridge.
Later we had a lovely New Year's Eve get together. There was laughter a plenty and good food and drink. Finally the fireworks started and we welcomed the New Year in. Not without some trepidation.
