Happy New Year!

We had sons Tom and Evan with their wives and our adorable grandchildren Elliott and Nora come to Boston to help bring in the New Year with us today.  Here are Nora and Elliott, all dolled up with "Happy New Year" headgear that featured blinking lights!  I love how they are holding hands and grinning!

We went out to watch the fireworks on Boston Common, but the noise was too scary for the little ones, so we beat a hasty retreat back to the apartment, and ate a cozy dinner together instead.  Extra shows some of the firework activity before we said adieu!
