Quiet at Da Cross

The winds have finally gone, and been fairly calm.  There has been showers throughout the day, but I did see some blue skies at times :) 

It's been another day working in the museum.  It's been really quiet all day, with the busiest part of the day over lunchtime.  After work, I popped by friends Madeline and Brian for a last cuppa of the year.  A walk with Sammy after tea, and then it's time to get ready for a night out.  New Year isn't far away now, and all the best for 2017.

I went for a lunchtime walk around Lerwick, and it stayed dry for me too.  The town was fairly quiet, but did bumped into a few folk, and wished them well for the New Year.  It won't be so quiet at midnight, as the youngsters gather here to take on the new year.  Been a good few years since I last came here.  Da Market Cross, Lerwick.
