Tidy(ish)

We have quite a large kitchen, but somewhat lacking in work surface. Not helped by the fact that we tend to accumulate "stuff" on every available surface.  So yesterday, we cleared the worksurface in the background, and moved the fruit bowl there from its previous resting place by the cooker. 

Today I was working a 1 till 9 shift, leaving us a short morning to fill.  We found some small amount of energy, and cleared the table in the foreground (visible in the back of this photo) of more stuff, and the corner in which I am standing to take the photo.  A lot of the "stuff" was from under the sink (dragged out when we had a blocked drain and never sorted and replaced).  Other was from the utility area - removed from there to allow the ceiling alterations. 

Some is back where it belongs, some is in the bin, and some is now in the box of things for the next charity shop run.  It feels good to make a bit of progress.
