" Today is purrfect "

The words on little A's top summed up another of our favourite activities in Austin with a morning walk round Lake Austin followed by brunch at Magnolia cafe. Our pace was a lot slower than the many runners we encountered on the lakeside path many with dogs or pushing their children in buggies but I still managed my 10000 Fitbit steps by lunchtime.

We did have a minor incident with a goose that waddled out of the lake and started attacking our shoes and trouser bottoms, probably because we didn't have any food for it, so we had to make a quick exit - little A thought it was funny !
