A bit of work to do yet

Getting on for three years ago we dabbled in the rental market buying a flat in Glasgow with Susan's sister and husband. He has a few flats he has bought, renovated and let so this property has added to his portfolio.

Three years on there's still much to be done. The place has been rewired and all the pipes put in for central heating but there's some structural work to be done, a kitchen and bathroom installed and all the finishing off. We're hoping 2017 will be the year we begin to see some return on our investment.

This was the first time we'd seen the property but it wasn't the main reason for travel to Glasgow, we were really going over to see Susan's nephew and family. A very pleasant time was had by all, thoroughly entertained by their two little children who were lively bundles of energy and fun.
