Tonight we went to see the Sailor Circus, a circus where all the performers are children ages 10-18.  The students learn all the circus arts throughout the year and then do two sets of shows, one the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve and another in the spring.  Sarasota resident Nik Wallenda (who walked a high wire across Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon and the Chicago River) and his family were sitting in the seats just in front of our family, so after the show, we asked if he would take a photo with Declan.  We went to see the BIG circus last February and Nik and his family performed high wire walks and Declan was so excited about it, he did a special project at school:  a biography of Nik Wallenda.  Anyway, Mr. Wallenda was very gracious and kind in posing for this photo.  :)
Extra is not great quality, but this tiny girl was about 50 feet in the air performing on this moon-shaped structure. Other extra is the gang of five having a smoothie at the Tiki Bar...
