Purple beauty

A sunny day and reasonably mild.

I had a Lunch meeting with the Co-ordinator of the Listening Service to review the past months and to think ahead to possibilities in the coming year. I have been covering an extra Surgery for six months but there is now someone else in post who will cover this work. It will mean less work for me although as the Service expands into new areas, no doubt I will find other work to do.

We met in the Cafe at the Botanical Gardens so I took the opportunity to find a flower to Blip. The nearest name plate seemed to indicate that this  is a 'dietas vegeta' from South Africa but since Google says that it was a type of lily I doubt that it is the proper name for this purple beauty.
