Looking very closely

I had intended to go out for a walk today, but it has been pretty dull so I was not inspired. Instead, I got out my microscope, dusted it off and set to work on identifying a mushroom I found recently. In October, I'm leading a couple of forays for our local natural history society and as my ID skills are a bit rusty, I thought it might be a good idea to do a bit of practising. Did I get to the bottom of it? Here it is.
