Foggy day

Another nice lazy day today. I've tried sorting some of the chaos in the living room but soon gave up. In order to put things in the kiddies bedrooms or playroom those rooms first need to be organised, else I'm just adding to the mess! Ergh! I'll sort it in 2017!

G&G came round for lunch. Mr J did a fantastic job of making homemade Stilton and broccoli soup with his own freshly made bread rolls. It was delicious and perfect for such a cold, frosty day.

The men then set about fitting our new oven. It's black and sleek and looks great in our kitchen. I'm looking forward to do some proper cooking now.

This evening me and kiddies were needing a bit of fresh air. A thick fog had descended so we wrapped up warm and grabbed our torches. We took a walk round the village. The kiddies were Christmas light hunting but it soon turned into a re-enactment of We're going on a bear hunt. "Oh no! Fog. Thick swirling fog..."

P got a new 'iPad' for Christmas and has donated her old one to A. Just before bed she was showing him how to use it. He was so excited and thought himself very grown up. He played on the furchester game for ages. It's the first time he's ever been interested in computer games. I think the old iPad will get lots of use from its second owner now.

Oh and I've eaten way too much cheese this evening... diet will also commence in 2017!
