Bulbs in boots.

Several times we have passed by these decoratively painted boots in the grounds of a local school and wondered if they had any purpose other than a school art project.  Now it is becoming clear that they are filled with soil and planted with spring bulbs.  Rather cute.  We made an early dash to the shops, went for a walk and N did some decorating whilst I finished off a report.  Things are returning to normal.
