Although it eventually rolled away to reveal a sunny day, Tuesday 27th December 2016 began with thick fog here in Istanbul. This did not improve my mood and reluctance to go to school.  One day off for Christmas is insufficient.  I was, therefore, officially grumpy, for much of the day.
