A very, very quiet post-Christmas grey-day Sunday at home, mostly spent knitting in front of dullsville TV and eating far too much.  Gloomy grey nearly drizzle with constant cloud cover, had us both almost comatose but at one point my brother did get up and fix the broken door lock and I changed channels a few times and made cups of tea ......

Disturbed to see the extent of the flooding in the North of England today on the evening news - pictured - military assisting with evacuations.  Many people have had a miserable Christmas this year - my heart goes out to those whose homes are affected by this record breaking deluge. 

Major achievement of the day for me has to be that I pledged to support Blip Future.  Incase you haven't seen it, there are plans for a community blip on Friday (here).  This coincides with what will be the first day of my fourth year of my daily Blip journal.
