Martindale valley from Hallin Fell

Agreed today to run a 2-hour photo workshop with a group of youngsters aged between 11 and 15, all currently on a christian camp.

At first phased by the idea of walking up a big hill in the rain, once we started talking about cameras, setting up of the camera and the controls, they all became thoroughly interested.

Even managed a short session on composition, keeping it simple, off-centre subject placement, and lead-lines (such as the wall in this shot).

The rain eased off after a bit, and although we didn't get a lot of sun, we managed this great view down Martindale valley.
