Cheery!

We had a lovely day yesterday. R, P and the girls came back with us to stay the night as their house was rather full. We were all very tired and P looked absolutely shattered after the busy day. It was well after 8 before anyone stirred this morning. I changed P’s dressing and the wound is looking good. It should do until his staples come out on Friday.
 
Whilst they went home to make breakfast for the rest of the family, who were heading off visiting, we stayed at home and had a quiet day. We were invited for breakfast, but having eaten so much yesterday, we declined the offer and have eaten sparingly!!
 
That didn’t stop us tasting the Christmas cake, the first I’ve made for many years. It’s good!!!
 
I’m watching the Dressmaker this evening, it’s really good so far :0)
