Restoring a tradition!

Many years ago when we lived in Scotland we used to have a homemade quiche for lunch on Boxing Day. I haven’t made one for ages; I normally just buy one from the supermarket.  :0(

This was goats cheese and kale (should have been spinach, but we had run out) very tasty!!

R has gone home to get ready for her flight out to Morocco from Gatwick tomorrow. She has to drive down because the trains are not running.


The girls are staying with us until Tuesday and then will have a few days in kennels to avoid any risk of fireworks in the village on New Year’s Eve. Pippa is terrified of the bangs.
