Frantic fennel!
Those of you who have bothered to read any of these entries from last year will know that I have a rampant fennel plant in my back garden. It self seeds everywhere and is threatening to take over.
However, it does seem to be a big attraction for insects. Positively buzzing with at least 6 varieties of bees and flies. The Buddleia is in full bloom but the butterflies are still few and far between.
The Eeyore of Gloom seems to have receded a bit again today and my inner Piglet is beginning to surface.
Have no idea of the scientific identities of any of these insects. Answers on a postcard please!!
