The day's eye

That is of course the origin of the name daisy.

Today was an absolutely dismal day - grey, wet and like October. Went to visit an old friend who was without electricity for the day. We needed candles!!!

As I got home in the early evening I realised that I hadn't taken any photos for my blip so quickly looked around for candidates.

Before I went away 2 weeks ago these plants outside my front door were pretty weedy. They are now beautiful in full bloom. The Argyranthemum and the Margeurite are bothe members of the daisy family. Here is another image plus one of a Fuschia.
