Christmas Eve Star

We made the journey across to Sefton, a journey that was much easier than we had anticipated. There we met up with daughter, son-on-law and his parents and had a great late lunch together at the Punchbowl. This is a place we have eaten at with them several times and this time we actually made it to St Helen’s Holy Well down the road, the signs for which I have seen before. They had done some asking around and were able to take us to it. It wasn’t very exciting, but a nice find.

That would have been my not very seasonal blip, but then we went back to Lil and George’s house for coffee and cake and were entertained by a tune on the ukulele. Lil instantly became the star of the day. Brilliant!
