Scooter skills

Not the most festive blip, but what we were doing today was keeping the girls out of the house for a while, so Mum could have some peace to prepare for tomorrow, when the family will be gathered.

We started by going to Café 1809, Kelly Holmes’ place, for an excellent brunch. Then we made for Tunbridge Park where the scooters came out and yesterday’s birthday girl could try out her new scooter. She managed very well to move from three wheels to two and had lots of practice in this park, which is perfect for such activity with its extensive network of paths. Meanwhile the older girls showed off their scooter skills in the skate park. I was pleased with this action picture - they were going at quite a pace down those steep slopes. 

We had a lovely day - they are great company.
