Concert Day

All ready for tonight's performance of Praetorious Mass, written so long ago that very little of what we sing tonight will be the original. Everything else had been added but in the right style. It's also not really a mass - but apart from that its very seasonal and Christmassy.

Rehearsal last night was awful but this afternoon was a lot better; it does help a lot to have soloists and orchestra there.

I am sitting beside the timpani so grabbed a shot during a few bars rest. Now for a quick change and then off for the last sing!

My mother is on the mend although we don't know what the hospital's assessment of her will be or how long she will stay there.
