In these Shoes? I Don"t Think So!

I took the week off work to help with all the pre-college packing and to spend some quality time with the kids before they head off to college. They however had other plans and have been hanging out with far more interesting people than me, and I have been sitting at home twiddling my thumbs.

Today I decided to attack the coat closet, which is about a foot and a half by two feet, and was a good two feet deep in shoes. I thought it would be an interesting exercise to see who had the most shoes in there and have a good moan at them when they got home.

Starting at 9 o'clock and going clockwise is Nick, Kate, Tom and ahem, moi, and I am the guilty party with the most shoes in there, although Nick's are twice as long as anyone else's and Kate had a pair of Uggs in there.

I noticed that my shoes are predominantly black. What does that say about me, other than I never have time to "colour co-ordinate" my outfits? Black goes with everything, right? Well it did when I was last in fashion, about 30 years ago!

I think I need to reinvent myself!

Oh yes, I forgot, inevitably cats strolled into the picture, and did what they do best.... sniffing!
