MSC Erica

MSC Erica, the worlds largest container ship, on her maiden voyage from Sri Lanka arrived at Felixstowe Port this afternoon.    I took this picture of her at 7.30 this evening whilst she was being unloaded by six of the cranes on the Berths 8 and 9.   She has the world's largest engine at 103,000HP, that's some engine.
Whilst we were researching her details we found a YouTube Video of her being berthed at Felixstowe by tugs Stanford and Shotley, quite an interesting video that you can watch by keying in MSC Erica and following the link.
