A Bit Batty

Last week I posted a shot of the ribbons in the trees outside the nursery.
Before Halloween it was bats that were hanging there.
Well - it would appear the bats didn't all leave.

There was a fair bit of back and forth to the school today ....... drop off The Cygnet, later drop off Squirrel for her party, go back to see/take pictures of Santa at the party (I got some great shots of Squirrel's 'teacher' running behind the group shot I was trying take whilst grinning like a Chesshire Cat and waving 'jazz hands' in a magnificent photobomb). Take Squirrel home - go and collect The Cygnet..... take The Cygnet to his other Grandparents - take Squirrel to gymnastics.
Then home, get changed and go to the crematorium. After that it was go out in the wind and rain for the hand shaking before heading off to the wake.
